Psalms 40:1-2

I waited patiently and expectantly for the Lord; And He inclined to me and heard my cry. He brought me up out of a horrible pit [of tumult and of destruction], out of the miry clay, And He set my feet upon a rock, steadying my footsteps and establishing my path.

Remark:

Honestly, many people do not like waiting, if not everyone. We’ve all been in a situation where we hated to wait. But patience is a key attribute of saints and people who wholeheartedly seek the Lord. If you ever find yourself struggling with waiting in any circumstance, remember how the Lord set a better path for the psalmist, when he was patient.
