Jeremiah 31:34

...

And each man will no longer teach his neighbor and his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me [through personal experience], from the least of them to the greatest,” says the Lord. “For I will forgive their wickedness, and I will no longer remember their sin.”

Remark:

Is this not the kind of forgiveness we desire when we pray to the Lord for forgiveness? When we pray, forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, are we willing to forgive and remember the sins of those who trespass against us no more, whether they did it intentionally or unintentionally? May the Lord help us to do to others what we desire Him to do for ourselves in terms of forgiveness of sins and trespasses. Amen!

Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him [drop the issue, let it go], so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions and wrongdoings [against Him and others].
